Yes! Thanks to our partnership with Truemed, eligible U.S. customers can use HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds directly at checkout for one-time purchases of NOVOS products (subscription purchases are currently not eligible).
How it works
- Choose "Pay with HSA/FSA" payment method at checkout.
- After placing your order, you’ll be redirected to the Truemed portal:
- Step 1: Pay with your HSA/FSA card (or use a regular credit card if HSA/FSA funds are insufficient).
- Step 2: Complete a brief (~2-minute) health intake survey to verify eligibility for the HSA/FSA route.
- Step 3: A licensed medical practitioner reviews your intake and issues a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) if approved.
- If you paid with your HSA/FSA card, retain the LMN and the receipt for your records (you may need them up to 3 years for compliance).
If you paid with a regular credit card, you’ll receive instructions for submitting the purchase for reimbursement through your FSA/HSA administrator.
Benefits
- Using HSA/FSA funds means you’re purchasing with pre-tax dollars, which may result in meaningful cost savings compared to paying after-tax.
- The streamlined Truemed process means fewer steps for you: payment, intake, review, and LMN issuance all handled in one flow.
Important Details & Eligibility
- Available for U.S. orders at this time, excluding NOVOS Age.
- Subscription or recurring membership purchases are not eligible for HSA/FSA payment via Truemed; if you proceed with a subscription you’ll need to pay by regular credit card and separately pursue reimbursement.
- If your HSA/FSA account does not have enough funds to cover the purchase, Truemed will prompt you to use a regular credit card and allow reimbursement for the portion up to your available HSA/FSA balance.
- Final eligibility is subject to your specific benefit plan rules, the intake survey review, and medical practitioner approval. The LMN is issued only upon approval.
- Retain your order confirmation, payment receipt, and the LMN — your HSA/FSA administrator may request this for audit or reimbursement review.
- You should always check with your plan administrator in advance to confirm whether purchases like NOVOS qualify under your HSA or FSA plan.
