How do I select a different daily action for today?

Customize your daily health routine by replacing any Daily Action with alternatives that better suit your lifestyle and goals.

Accessing the Swap Feature:

  1. Open any Daily Action from the Daily Action section on your Dashboard
  2. Look for the "Swap Action" button located above the "Mark as Done" button
  3. Tap "Swap Action" to open the customization modal

Choosing from Pre-defined Actions:
The Swap Action modal displays recommendation categories based on your lifestyle questionnaire responses, organized into two sections:

  • Poor - Areas identified as needing the most improvement
  • Fair - Areas with moderate performance that could benefit from optimization.

Each category (such as "Smoking: Current and past," "Cardiovascular exercise," "Servings of fruits and vegetables," etc.) shows its corresponding health domain (Drugs and Alcohol, Activity, Diet, Social, Medical History, Demographics).

To select a pre-defined action:

  1. Tap on any recommendation category/title
  2. Browse the list of science-backed actions specific to that category
  3. Select the action that resonates with you by tapping the radio button next to it
  4. Press "Save" to replace your current Daily Action

Creating a Custom Action:
If none of the pre-defined actions fit your needs:

  1. Select the appropriate category from the list
  2. Choose the "Custom Action" option (or scroll to the custom action section)
  3. Enter your custom action title in the provided text field
  4. The system will automatically assign points based on the category (e.g., "10 pts" shown in yellow badge)
  5. Press "Save" to create and swap in your personalized action

Finalizing Your Choice:

  • Press "Save" to confirm your new action - it will immediately replace the original Daily Action
  • Press "Cancel" or the back arrow to exit without making changes
  • Your new action will appear in your Daily Actions list and be ready to track
